DIY week

So…the boyfriend is down with chicken pox too (my bad /:). The both of us being sick and on the road to recovery has allowed us a lot more “home” time. This also means more “diy” time! ☺ Yay to snowglobe + popsicles!

Materials required to make a snowglobe:
– Air tight glass jar.
– A platform of some sort. In this case, I used a 3D printed plastic platform from Instamakesg.
– Silver glitter!!!
– h2o.
– Glycerin. It prevents the glitter from falling too quickly.
– Hot glue gun.
– Snowglobe decoration! I used a Christmas House from Nanoblocks. It would be best to glue small flimsy parts together first to prevent them from breaking apart.

Watermelon popsicles:
– Popsicle mold.
– Watermelon juice.
– Sugar syrup, if you like your popsicles sweet. I did not use any as the watermelon we had was sweet enough.

We”ve kinda been obsessed to turning everything we like into popsicles.. Like ribena… Hehe best thing ever! Heh…

xx
